“Pooling resources from PC and console and mobile, EA can and will be able to watch as players move from one device to another – still playing their games – and look at how they approach them,” writer Kyt Dotson explained.
The big move to Big Data may also be a way to research user patterns on devices. EA Games can be played on PC, consoles, or mobile devices, for example, and having a better idea of which device is primarily being used and other customer trends could influence the way future games are developed.
